Professor Mante leads the Graduate School, overseeing master's, doctoral and professional postgraduate programmes and championing the quality of research training across the College.

Biography

Professor Clara Fayorse Mante is a senior scholar in public health and population studies whose career spans clinical practice, programme leadership and graduate education. She has led multi-country research projects on maternal and child health and has worked with national and international agencies on health-systems strengthening across West Africa.

As Dean of the Graduate School at Southshore, she oversees the College's master's, doctoral and professional postgraduate programmes, shapes the research-training environment and works with supervisors to uphold the quality of theses and dissertations.

She is a committed mentor to early-career researchers and has built bridges between Southshore and partner institutions across Africa, Europe and North America.
