Purpose

The Graduate School Advisory Board shapes the strategic direction of postgraduate education and research training at Southshore.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise on the postgraduate portfolio, recruitment and student experience.
  • Set standards for doctoral supervision, training and progression.
  • Champion interdisciplinary research training and external partnerships.
  • Monitor postgraduate completion rates, outcomes and graduate destinations.

Composition

Dean of the Graduate School (Chair), faculty directors of postgraduate studies, external academic and industry advisors, and postgraduate student representatives.

Meets

Twice per academic year.
