Purpose

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is the elected voice of Southshore students, ensuring that student perspectives shape policy, services and campus life.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent student interests on Council, the Academic Board and Faculty Boards.
  • Run campaigns, clubs and societies that enrich the student experience.
  • Partner with the University on welfare, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Hold elected officers accountable through open meetings and annual reporting.

Composition

A democratically elected President, Vice-Presidents and faculty representatives, supported by part-time officers.

Monthly in open session.
