Elected student body that articulates student voice in governance, policy and campus life decisions.
Purpose
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is the elected voice of Southshore students, ensuring that student perspectives shape policy, services and campus life.
Key responsibilities
- Represent student interests on Council, the Academic Board and Faculty Boards.
- Run campaigns, clubs and societies that enrich the student experience.
- Partner with the University on welfare, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Hold elected officers accountable through open meetings and annual reporting.
Composition
A democratically elected President, Vice-Presidents and faculty representatives, supported by part-time officers.
Meets
Monthly in open session.
